About Sadie

Are you looking for a relaxed, adorable companion to shower you with attention? Then it's time to meet Sadie! This 51-lb, 8-year-old heeler mix is currently being fostered in Parkland, FL (Broward County). She loves lounging around, getting her belly rubbed, and even relaxing with the furminator (although she's not one who likes getting her nails done; that will require peanut butter and patience). Sadie also enjoys going for walks and smelling EVERYTHING, sometimes getting a little excited and pulling her person along (especially if she sees a rabbit!). She'll even go for a light jog (she can run about a mile), as long as she has some cool water to drink and a cold tile floor to rest on when she's done. Sadie is working on basic commands, and she is incredibly treat motivated. She's also quite the foodie: canned pumpkin and cooked veggies are delicious! While Sadie loves her humans, she would do best in a household where she is the only dog. Sadie is house-trained, crate-trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. As a senior, Sadie's standard adoption donation is $250, but $150 for a senior adopter 65+ through our Seniors for Seniors program.
