He is a chill dude. He also gets really low when he approaches new people. LowKey has a similar past as several dogs that seem to find their way to FBS. He was adopted from a local shelter and cat compatibility testing was not done. He was adopted and unfortunately was not ok with cats on the farm. He is wonderful with the other dogs and their children, but is not good with cats when unsupervised. Unfortunately, not all shelters ensure compatibility of animals and then it falls on the adopter and that can end tragically. My heart hurts for them and LowKey. LowKey is hands down my favorite dog right now. He is so sweet, playful, gentle, listens well, and just wants to please. He had a severe under belly rash and smelled like skunk but after baths and treatment, he is looking great! Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is mandatory.
