'Howdy! I'm your new best bud, I can just tell! If you need a buddy to follow you wherever you rootin' tootin' adventures carry ya, then I'm the guy! I'll tag along on all of your endeavors. My name is Texas and I'm a 3 year old looker. I came to SVASC as a stray and was never reclaimed. When I came in, I was pretty thin. Apparently, livin' out on the road can be a little hard, especially when you're on your own. That's why I want a buddy to keep me company! I have been putting on weight at the shelter, though. A good meal was all it took to get me back to looking and feeling myself. I am a happy and playful cat. I love to hang out with my person or go off on adventures myself. I would make a great addition to a family looking for an outgoing, energetic kitty. I am good with other cats, but can be a lil pushy with intros; SVASC recommends that things are taken slowly. I would do best in a home without any of those things you dogs; they're nosey and annoying and quite frankly, I ain't afraid to admit that they scare me a lil. I would also do best in a home without any very young kids as I get overstimulated easily. My adoption fee is $35 to an approved adopter.
