About LYNDY

Adoption Fee: $239.06
Bichon Frise / Maltese
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

I have flea dermatitis which is why my skin is red and I have some hair loss, it's not contagious and I've been treated, my skin should clear up and my hair should grow back soon. I'm about 4 years old and I weigh about 9 lbs. I love other dogs and people of all ages, including kids! I'm also fine with cats. IF I'M STILL LISTED, I'M STILL AVAILABLE We never like to say that our dogs are 100% house trained because, when dogs are adopted and get into a new environment, i.e. their new home, they go through what's called an adjustment/decompression period, and even if they're housetrained, they sometimes briefly revert - or regress. Some do initially mark/potty in the house, even though they may not do that at the foster's home. This is what we tell potential adopters when they ask'|ARE THE DOGS 'POTTY' TRAINED? All of our foster dogs are CRATE trained. When they are not in crates, they are in an area of the house where they are not always observed, so it is hard to know who is doing what - when. Because people who foster usually have multiple foster dogs, they do not have time to walk each dog multiple times/day, so they are typically not on any kind of a 'potty' schedule, so some do 'go' in the house sometimes. What we tell people is, if you adopt and the dog is not housetrained, get the dog on a schedule and if the dog is not housetrained, house training SHOULD come easily. Each adoption also comes with a FREE half hour PRIVATE training session with a PetSmart accredited pet trainer. Additionally, having your male dog wear a 'belly band' while you are house training him will prevent urine stains and odors on carpet and furniture, which helps in housebreaking because your dog will not be tempted to remark areas where he smells his scent. You can meet this dog at the Plano PetSmart, 6204 West Park Boulevard, Saturdays and Sundays from 1-6
