About Milli

I rescued Milli when she was just 4 weeks old from a person in Summerfield, FL. Milli was my first dog that I obtained on my own, as an adult. When I got her the person that I got her from told me that she was 2 months old. I had no previous experience with puppies. I took her to the veterinarian just to get her checked out from the poor situation she came from and was told that her age was 4 weeks based on her dental development. I tried contacting the person I got her from to get clarification on what she told me about the puppy but she never answered or returned my calls. At this point I was just glad that I could help this poor puppy who clearly needed to get out of that place, which was extremely overloaded with other dogs also. Milli is very sweet to adults. She does not like children of any age whatsoever. She has bitten multiple child family members including my own children, which is why we are at the very last option to have her places in a more appropriate home. My human children are 1 and 3 years old. We have explored options to try and mitigate her aggressive behavior but nothing has been successful. Milli has been diagnosed with arthritis in her knees and she is given pain medication twice per day to help with that. Milli would do great in a loving home with a single person or couple that spends a lot of time at home who can snuggle and give her one on one attention. Finding a new home for my girl is very painful and not something I thought I would ever have to do. I have many other pictures if wanted.
