About Luna

I need to find a better home for my boxer mix dog Luna. I rescued her from a woman in the parking lot of a motel. She is a boxer mix dog who is about 11 months old. Luna is completely deaf (I didn't know it at the time, but would have taken her anyway as I've had a deaf fog before), VERY loving, submissive, raised with an 8 lb Chihuahua (who rules the roost AND basically acts as her mother!). She plays with the Chihuahua very well, even will grab a long toy then hold still so the Chihuahua can grab hold to play tug. She is so good around the Chihuahua that she will even let her eat out of her food without getting defensive and even will make room for the Chihuahua to steal some of her food! She is very shy around other dogs until she gets to know them. She is trained to use pee pads when I can't get her out often due to my physical issues. Luna wants to be right with me all the time and sleeps in bed with me, touching all night. She walks on a leash with me very well and doesn't pull over hard. She thankfully doesn't have any health problems, is not currently up on any vet visit as I cannot afford to take her or the Chihuahua to the vet. She is in her first heat, and is about 11 months old. I cannot care for her as she should be cared for anymore. I'm separated from my husband due to domestic violence and living in a 32 foot RV. I'm disabled and walk with a cane. I'm on social security disability so am very limited in money. I love her to death but this isn't about me, it's about what is best for her. I HAVE to find her a forever home as I can't keep her in this situation! It's doing Luna a disservice! I know that you don't rescue dogs from Georgia, but hope and pray that you can forward this to someone who can help. I've contacted one that is in Atlanta, ga. But I need to do this for her sake, not mine! PLEASE HELP!
