** ADOPTION PENDING ** Meet Zeke! Zeke came to us with Elvis and Zoey when their owner passed away and the immediate family could no longer care for them. Zeke is a spunky little 3 lb guy who is guessed to be about 6 years old. He may be small, but he has a big personality. He like to cuddle on the couch and pounce on your feet when you are walking. He gets along with other dogs, but does have some food aggression, which is easily managed by feeding separately from the others and picking up all food dishes after meals. He can also show some possessiveness with toys and his people at times. Zeke is crate trained and is doing well with potty training when taken out on a regular basis, but he has had accidents in the house. He doesn't have much experience with walking on a leash, so his leash skills need work. He is a very quick little guy who is quick to dash out an open door. He is looking for an all adult home, preferably with small chihuahua experience. Zeke has been neutered, he received an extensive dental cleaning with extractions, jas received his rabies and distemper vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is microchipped. Zeke's adoption donation of $350 helps cover the cost of his medical care. Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Adopters must live 1.5 hours driving distance from Romeoville, IL.
