He simply needs someone with an open heart who will let him be him. Skater is 35 pounds of young (3 years), smart, fast, did I say fast, sweet, very snuggly, very playful doggy love. He is charismatic and handsome too! And yes, he happens to have had an accident which severed his young spine,which disconnected the electrical circuit that gives his rear legs the signal to go�'�|This doesn't keep him from moving (he gets around fine without assistance and is super fast). It also doesn't keep him from walking, he just does it in a special way using his supreme upper body strength�'�|He requires no medicine or medical care or doctor visits beyond that of any pet, just a little help releasing his bladder and hes all set. What else? He's a little cocky. He knows he's special and flaunts it. Sometimes when he doesn't think anyone's looking, he flexes his super strong muscles and lifts himself into a handstand�'�|rear legs off the ground a good 6 inches. Incredible? Yes, but it's just one of his incredible qualities that make him nothing like most people expect.
