FOSTER or ADOPT for special needs timid Zoe. Gentle 3 year old Zoe was rescued from such bad abuse the owner was charged with cruelty; she was chained outside for years with other dogs who died. Zoe needs a patient foster or adopter who will let her come around into her own time. Her foster writes: 'Zoe is very sweet, submissive, timid. Zero aggression. It will take time for her to trust and learn that new owners aren't going to hurt her.She needs to be with another dog, preferably one her size and more confident to show her the ropes. She loves playing with other dogs. She needs a safe space to retreat to. She won't come immediately to new owners. Again, that is going to be a process. She needs someone who is at home part of the day to improve her socialization.'
