Name:%A0Ray Ray Age:%A0 %A0 Approximately 5 years Breed:%A0Beagle Sex:%A0 35# (Male) Not Neutered Location:%A0Jefferson County, Missouri Vet Information: Not UTD on vaccines. Heartworm status unknown. Owner report: 'I rescued this dog from an older gentleman who was going to shoot him. I cannot keep him due to my circumstances and I would like to find him a good home because he is a very kind and gentle dog. I cannot keep him in my home and my yard is not safe for a blind dog so he has to be kept in a pen outside. I have a baby that is crawling inside the home so I am afraid to bring him into the home to socialize because of the baby and his inability to see. Our family is also moving soon and cannot take him with us.' Ray Ray is reported to be an outdoor dog with a fenced yard. He is shy, good with adults and other dogs. Although he can not see, his current care giver notes that Ray Ray has never shown aggression. Ray Ray's care giver reports that: 'Ray Ray was blind when I rescued him from his owner. The owner reports that he could see, then one day just turned blind. Both eyes appear to be glazed over looking. I believe the dog can see some shadows'|but I'm not certain of this.' 'This is a very sweet and loving dog who does not have much a life living with me. I am able to meet his very basic needs but he deserves more than I can give him. I want him to have a good home where he can be loved and get the attention that he deserves. I do not want to have to take him to a shelter where he will not be adopted...and I'm afraid it will come to that when we move in the next 2 months. Please help me find this sweet boy the home that he deserves!' Does any one have room for this sweet boy? **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
