Luna is a lab mix (most likely pit bull) with a tuxedo coat pattern. She was born sometime around August 2019. She is as timid as she is sweet. Luna is more comfortable meeting new dogs than scary people - she's even more likely to try to befriend your cat. Despite being shy, she learns quickly and is very food motivated, but not food aggressive, or aggressive at all for that matter. She is a chewing machine, but is learning what is appropriate when provided with chew toys. Luna likes to be around her foster family and their cats and dog, but she is anxious about being pet. Even though she hasn't let her foster family pet her yet, she has learned to sit and to go in her crate. She is not leash trained yet because she's too scared to get close enough to her and she will pancake when a harness or leash is put on her. She is housebroken, but sometimes it is hard to tell when she needs to go out. Luna currently lives in a foster home in Texas. If you choose to adopt her then Rescue Road Trips will transport her north. The adoption fee includes transport!
