About DIXIE

Hi my name is Dixie! I am a 3- 5 yr old chihuahua/pug mix.... my foster mom would say I am smart, savvy and curious. I came from a hoarding situation, so I love to hang with other dogs but I am still very afraid of people. My foster bro is a weenie dog and we get along very well. I am curious about lots of things my foster mom does, I just want to take everything in on my terms and need someone who will go VERY slowly. I love to eat, like cookie treats, have found some toys are fun. I adore Nathan's hotdogs! I think my foster mom sometimes put things in them, but who cares??!! It's a hotdog!I learned the doggie door on my second night ! I love sleeping on the comfy couch....I am looking forward to my forever, patient family that has some other dogs too! I do have a cervical fracture but don't let it slow me down.
