Hi, my name is JAX ID#A4380280. I am a neutered male, Blue Nosed, gray and white American Pit Bull terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old, and I have been at the shelter since June 21, 2020. Sadly, I am set for euthanasia in a couple of days. I was with my family for 5 years! I'm sad and confused in the shelter....my family abandoned me... They surrendered me to the shelter because I was overprotective and food aggressive. Innately, us dogs tend to defend our home right? and food aggression?....well,.... just feed us separately (if I go to home with another dog)....is this a reason to take my life away?...NO!....I don't think it is...Will you save my life? I'm such a LOVER BOY. I am a bit shy and skiddish at first, but I warm up nicely. I am a calm dog, but I do get playful too! I just need my confidence back from being dumped at the shelter. I should probably be in a home with older/no children. I was living with another dog so I am probably good with dogs BUT MUST do a meet n greet first.
