We are blessed to have Whippets surrendered to our rescue regardless of why. We help when needed. Covid has caused upheaval in a lot of lives, and the dogs are usually last in first out (especially if there are children). Email and tell me why you want a Whippet, your experience and email for a Whippet Adoption Application. I really would like a phone number that I can google and find you. There are too many people that want to 'rescue' dogs that are specific breeds, not for everyone. This is a busy gaggle of puppies requiring shots, wormings, heartworm/flea/tick meds, exercise, feeding, etc. and there's no time to waste our time. If your application is approved and you come to meet the pups, you must wear a mask, gloves and cover your shoes. If we reach the application stage and for some reason it doesn't arrive at the rescue, please resend it. Things do get lost in cyperspace. If you don't have an approved application, but several people before you do, there won't be any more pups. We are a small and private rescue and we don't give information on the dogs we receive to pet adopters or anyone else for that matter. If you email me with 'show' questions, I will not reply. These are lovely, sweet pets. There is nothing wrong with them, just not registered and not for show, but for happy pets with lovely families. If you are not a kind, caring family, and can make a decicion, not 'we are coming to meet them but not committing' don't come. We are not a place for shopping for dogs, especially in these days of covid-19. If you think you are too good to adopt from a rescue, please don't email. The adoption fee is listed, so if you can't afford to adopt, you can't afford to maintain the pup. Joker and his brother, Diamond (separate post) are still available. Both will be removed when adopted. I have some wonderful adopters, so please don't tell me what a wonderful home you'll be, that we missed out on. These pups are not in danger and are very well taken care of. Do not be an elitist.
