About Calloway

Meet Calloway! I woke up on June 26, 2020 to this bunny running around my yard. My guess is someone knows I rescue and rehome bunnies and he got dumped! After playing chase for a while, I was able to corner him and scoop him to safety in my net! I could tell he was friendly as he was flirting with me and I believe he really wanted to be captured. He just needed to know he would be safe! Poor little guy. Anyway, Calloway was neutered July 3, 2020 and he is recovering nicely! I'm sure he will continue to feel better with his male hormones exiting his system from his neuter! He is a small bunny and fully grown. I'm estimating him at one year old however it is not easy to tell with rescue buns. He would be okay as a single bun or he may like the chance to be bonded with your existing spayed female bunny. His personality for the short time I've had him has been absolutely delightful. He has been easy for me to pick up and snuggle! If Calloway can't be free roaming in your residence or a portion of your home, then an x-pen enclosure or home made DIY wire grid system enclosure is recommended as appropriate living quarters. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Or, delivery is also available to the greater Southern California region. The adoption fee is $60 which simply covers the cost of his neuter surgery and rescue intake protocol medications.
