About Saffy

Saffy(short for Sapphire)is a 2.5 year old beautiful blue eyed Catahoula Leopard Cur. Saffy is deaf but very smart, she knows some hand signals and has been trained using a vibration collar. She is a sweet girl who needs a lot of love, attention, consistency and reassurance. She likes to be by her persons side at all times. She would prefer to not be in a crate but will go in with some coaxing, the crate must be durable as it takes her a little bit of time to settle. She would much more enjoy sleeping in the comfort of her humans bed. Saffy does well with other dogs as long as she is the center of attention, a fur friend that is playful but laidback would be the best match for Saffy. A fenced yard is a plus given her deafness but since she doesn't like her human family to be out of her site she doesn't stray very far from the house.
