About Daniel

Pug mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

ADOPTION PENDING 4 month old male Pug mix, about 12 pounds. Hi, I am Daniel. I don't know how big I will get but maybe I will weigh between 15 and 20 lbs. I might be a pug mix but who really knows. My foster mom keeps telling me I act like a big dog in a small dog body. I am an adorable bundle of puppy energy. I make her laugh when I chase my tail or run around the yard. I love to play fetch, will you play with me? Once I get my exercise, I love to snuggle and I love all people. I spend most of my evening with my head on my foster peoples lap. I really want to please you and I will work hard to do what you want. I am getting pretty good at sit and stay and leave-it. If I am doing something fun I don't always come when called but if you sound excited I will rush over to see what you are doing. I am getting really good at going to the bathroom on that white pad, but I prefer to go outside and sniff around for the perfect potty spot. Sometimes my foster brother goes potty in the house and so I copy him. I think once I am away from his bad influence, I will do better. I love toys and socks too, but I am pretty good about leaving shoes and other household items alone; they don't interest me much. My foster home has other dogs and cats and I enjoy playing with the dogs but the cats are boring. I would be happy being the only fur-baby or living with some other dogs or cats. At night I am so lucky because my foster mom lets me snuggle until I am pretty sleepy and then she cradles me in her arms before she puts me in my crate. I didn't really like sleeping in the crate at first but now I am ok with it as long as you put me in when I am sleepy. You can see how adorable I am, but I have a confessions to make. I want to make sure that if you choose me you know the good and the bad. I hate to be in my crate during the day and I will whine and whine and whine. I am trying to make you feel bad so you will let me out! I can be pretty noisy, so apartment living would not suit me at all! You will need to have some patience to make me feel comfortable when you leave me. If you are interested in loving me for the rest of my life, please apply to adopt me. Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. For a list of scheduled events go to: https://www.facebook.com/SmidgetRescue/events . Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Additional pictures of adoptable dogs can be seen at: https://www.facebook.com/SmidgetRescue/photos_stream?tab=photos_albums. All adoptable dogs are spayed or neutered at 6 months of age or older, and always before being placed in their new homes. APPLICATIONS CAN BE OBTAINED BY EMAIL ONLY. Adoption process includes application, meet & greet, home visit and reference check. Email Jamie at [email protected] or click on the CONTACT link on this page. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS BEFORE SENDING. We get a fair number of incorrect emails and Jamie is not able to contact potential adopters. Notice: We do not ship dogs out of state. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
