Dixie is a very sweet Boston beagle mix. Her owner passed away in February. He rescued her from an abusive situation. She was his princess. He had a stroke and before his passing was in a nursing home. The person he had arranged to take her had no intention of keeping her. After her owner passed he couldn't place her he was going to take her to the shelter. Town has an ordinance for number of dogs. I exceed this with Dixie and must place her or be subject to fines. She is a very sweet girl who needs a loving home. Small children make her nervous.
