About Bailey

Hi! I'm Bailey! I'm a 5-year-old calm but playful boy. I get along with other dogs and love people but I need time to feel safe around them, so I do best when I'm given the chance for very slow introductions to other dogs and people. I also love to be given my own space to relax and be comfortable. I would do best in a home with other pets that respect my space and cues for space. I walk well on a leash but I may react if I get stressed during my walk or feel unsafe. I'm working with my foster to get better when that happens while on walks. I'm also crate-trained and can spend some quiet time in a crate, but I prefer not to be in one. My hunting instincts kick in when I see a lizard during my walk. I would do best in a household with older children that understand dog behavior, with or without pets. I'm looking for a semi-active family that can take me out on my daily walks and that will understand my personality and will love me for the rest of my life. Will that be you?
