About Ava

Ava is a beautiful 18 month old Great Pyrenees. She is sweet as can be with her family and with children, but she has some anxiety with strangers, particularly when they quickly arrive and depart, and has occasionally nipped at people on their way to leave, but has never injured anyone. Ava needs a home with no free-ranging birds (ducks, chickens, etc) as she will chase and kill them. She also needs a home with a large, secure fenced yard as she likes to wander. Being an 80-lb Great Pyranees, she needs plenty of space, but she would be totally happy living in a neighborhood with a nice fenced yard with the right family as she is a big snuggle bug. She is allowed to sleep on the bed/couch here, so she will have to be trained not to do that if that is not allowed at your house, and she can be stubborn/slow to train. Ava is such a sweet, cuddly girl who will lay next to you and snuggle for hours. She will be available to go to her new home on Sunday, after the 4th of July is over.
