About Truffle

Truffles is a sweet happy dog. She's about 2 years old and weighs around 50lb. Truffles is a truly kind heart and will make a wonderful dog for someone. She has a lot of love to give, and will be loyal and protective and kind to her new owner. She loves and trusts easily, and when you hug her and hold her close, she closes her eyes in contentment and happiness, and you can tell that she feels happy when she is loved. I think that she has either Irish Wolfhound or terrier in her or both. She has tufts of wiry hair on her face and different streaks of hair color, making for a very interesting face to frame her soulful eyes. She has four white feet and is trim and athletic, and seems very healthy. She spent the day underfoot when I was cooking on a Sunday afternoon, and followed me from room to room and seemed very content. She is observant and walks slowly through a new room, looking and smelling everything. She would be a good watchdog with her deep bark, but she only barks occasionally and stops when you ask her to. She does pull somewhat on leash, but you get the feeling she has never been a leash before, and with her intelligence, she will learn quickly . She has a loping walk and run, and would make a great running or walking buddy. She can entertain herself with a toy, and she throws it around the yard and chases it with glee, running toward it and then tossing it again. She is ok with other dogs, but does like to steal their bones from them so we think she should be fed desperately and given treats away from other dogs. She maybe should be an only dog (?) not sure.. In summary, Truffles is a wonderful dog. She so deeply wants to be loved, and she will return the love and loyalty right back. She will be a calm, loving and loyal guardian for a family and a loved and cherished future family member. Truffle is currently being fostered in Olympia, WA and can be met with an approved application. Her adoption fee covers her spay, vaccinations, hw test and transport fees.
