My name is Freckles...that's because I'm a freckly girl. I probably get that from my cattle dog side. They think I definitely have Heeler in me, but if you see me in person it also looks like there might be a little Spaniel (maybe Brittany?) in me too.They say I am about 3 years old, and I currently weigh about 54 lbs. I was recently sprung from the shelter, and I was pretty nervous in my new surroundings at first, but once I got some decompression time and adjusted I did just fine. I am a sweet and spunky girl! I do fine with other dogs, but I'm more interested in hanging out with my person. Cats are cool I guess, but they freak me out sometimes. I know how to be quiet in my crate and how to do my business outside so you don't need to worry about teaching me puppy stuff. If I'm really excited I'll even smile for you, so what do you say? All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250 + tax (pups 6 months and older) and $350 + tax (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 3 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
