Chip is scared of everything... he will attach strongly to one person but he needs to be an adopter that understands what a ' flight risk' is...he was already lost and was recovered after an exhaustive search of 13 days... he needs to be leash walked in his yard for at least 2 months and evaluated to make sure he doesn't get spooked and lost again, in short, he needs a special home, he's afraid of men and will be better in a home with a woman. he is sweet and loving and needs a chance.. he is soulful and doing well with his house training. all adopters must have a veterinary reference for a previous dog and a 6' fenced yard, he can scale a high fence so precautions must be employed until he knows he is safe and is bonded to his person. We only recovered him last time because after 13 days he collapsed.
