About Barney

Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hello! My name is Barney. To simply put it'| Barney is the best dog. A dog that anyone would dream of having! Barney is a two year old Labrador Mix, about 45/50 pounds, and is the most loving cuddler. Potty trained, prefers to use bells, or stares at you until you notice he wants out'| Barney would do best with a family with kids 12 or older, he loves to play, and can play a little rough sometimes. He loves to play with other dogs and loves being outside and sunbathing. He does well with older dogs, but would prefer a younger dog to play with and be friends with. A fenced in yard is a must for him, open the front door and he is not afraid to run. Barney loves daily long walks! He does better on a harness when walked, he walks on the leash like a pro, but if he sees a rabbit he can get excited. He does well being left alone, he would be better in a space where he can have his toys to chew on while you are gone. Barney loves being cuddled, going on drives, playing with toys'| and so much more. He is an adventurous boy who is ready to find his forever home. His quirky attitude makes for amazing days, and his love for cuddling makes for cozy movie time. He is one of a kind with a beautiful soul. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments.
