About Keke

3 years old and 50 lb.. Will be spayed before adoption. She will require a meet and greet with your dog(s). Would be best to have large, fenced yard. Keke is a beautiful Blue-eyed blonde red husky who loves everyone she meets. She was kept outside before being surrendered by her owner so indoors is all very new to her. She's adjusting and we are working on correcting her jumping up to greet new people, some basic commands and socialization skills (as best we can in our COVID world). She loves children but doesn't know her own size and strength when playing, and for this reason would probably be better in a home with older children. She likes dogs when outdoors but wants to be dominant over the other dogs when inside her current foster home. She has an alpha personality and careful introduction to other dogs in the household would probably be required. Like most huskies, she pulls on a leash and we are trying to correct - she tends to pull when we first start out on a walk then settles and walks fairly nicely. She loves car rides. She loves being with her foster mom and will probably bond closely with her forever family. She seems intensely loyal and protective. She does not have separation anxiety. She goes into her crate easily and sleeps quietly overnight/for a few hours in the day. Update: Keke is making great strides in just one week.
