About Major

Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Meet Major! Major is an 82 lb, 3 year old lab/bully mix filled with personality. He is an extremely outgoing boy that loves everyone he meets and always follows by your side. Major enjoys attention and the many rubs that come because of it. He likes fetching toys and bringing it back so the fun can be continued. Major is housebroken and crate trained. He is fantastic with other dogs of all sizes, and tends to be pretty submissive. His current foster home does not have cats, but with the right introduction there is no doubt that there would be any issues. He does amazing with kids of all ages. Major is learning basic commands and will do anything for a treat. He is working on leash walking and has improved immensely since being in his foster home. Major does really well on car rides and makes the best co-pilot. Major is up to date on vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, and being fostered in New Freedom, PA. Major was noted to have pain in his leg so off to the vet he went! He is currently scheduled to see an orthopedic vet regarding his patella. Low-Moderate activity family will be best fit? We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
