About Vickie

Please note we already have 10+ applications at this time for Vickie and are working on them as a team at this time Vickie is a 2 year old 7.5 pound Pomeranian who loves to snuggle. She is house and crate trained, HW negative, and UTD on shots. She was recently spayed and was quite content for us to comb her and clip and grind her nails. She is being fostered in Mechanicsburg, PA with one other small dog. She has adapted well to meeting new people and loves to follow us around if we leave the room. She enjoys running around outside or inside - adorable to watch because of all her fur! She rarely barks but when she does it is very quiet. She is working on leash skills as that seems to be a new concept for her coming from a hoarding situation. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
