About Capri

Lab mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Hello, I am Capri. My life has not had an easy start. I was a stray who went to a high kill shelter before PA Caring for K9s saved me. My foster mom thinks I may have been a breeder dog. When I arrived I had mange and my skin was super itchy. I had to be carried to the car on the first night I arrived after getting off the van because I was so scared. In my new home, I wanted nothing to do with the humans and preferred to lay in my crate alone in another room. Noises scared me and I had no interest in toys. When I met new people, I tried to hide in the most awkward places . And now... My personality is starting to shine and I love my humans. I have been known to carry my food bag through the house. My skin is less itchy and my hair is growing back. I love toys and playing. I really like having a puppy play mate to lead the way. I still am a little shy in new situations but warm up quickly. I love to give kisses and snuggle. I am about 40 pounds and have had almost no accidents in my foster home or crate. I am a 1-3 year old lab mix who would love to love you. I tested well with cats and mainly seems disinterested. I am in Mechanicsburg, PA We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
