About Bob

Meet Bob, he's just traveled up from Alabama to find his forever family! He was a stray found by animal control that was microchipped. After dozens of attempts to reach his owners, including talking to them!, they still never showed up to get him. He's ready for his northern match! He's a 1-3 year old lab mix and weighs about 50 lbs, Don't be fooled by his size, he's gentle and loving and always wants to be with you! Bob is housebroken and knows 'sit'. We're working on more commands and he's made great progress on a leash in two days. Bob is great with dogs he's met! He's been terrific with young kids. Bob is up to date on vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, and being fostered in Lancaster, PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
