About Tank

Hi, my name is Sara and I have a 9 year old male pit bull named Tank. My family and I love him very much, but the last couple years he has had extreme anxiety stemming from fireworks and being left alone. Last summer he tried to break through a double pane glass window resulting in severe cuts to his face and paws and also breaking off one of his lower teeth. We've tried crate training him and he breaks out of any containment we have tried. He had ground down most of his teeth from chewing through metal cages and chain link kennels. We also tried to sedate him with pills and they don't work. We are out of options and just can not continue to keep him with how unstable he has become. He's started to show aggression toward our youngest daughter who is 9 months old. His anxiety is getting worse everyday and he had started reacting to any noise that frightens him with aggressive behavior. Looking for someone who has experience with aggressive/anxiety dogs. We are in desperate need as we have not been able to find him a suitable home and our only other option is to euthanize him. I am trying to do everything in my power to not do that.
