Bo is an energetic, sweet boy that warms up quickly to every person he meets. He is about 15 pounds, neutered, up to date on all of his shots and around 2 years old. He is very playful and friendly with other dogs, but he does have an 'in your face' attitude so he may not do well with dogs that get irritated by 'puppy play' more easily. He has been around a submissive cat without issues, but again he does not recognize spatial boundaries. He has some severe anxiety including general and separation anxiety. He's currently taking trazadone for the anxiety. He is fine sleeping in a crate at night as long as the crate is in the same room as someone, but he does not do well in one during the day. Due to the lack of potty training and crate training since he was a puppy, he is not fully housebroken. We think he would do best in a home with someone who is home all of the time. We'd prefer to see him go to someone who works from home or is retired and has a yard. He will require frequent bathroom trips and has a ton of energy to burn. Due to his anxiety issues, we think he would be best in a home without small children. He is very cute and has a lot of love to give, but please understand we will be picky about who he goes to because he needs someone that will be committed to training him and working with him to help his anxiety and set him up for success. We'd like to meet whoever is interested and receive updates on occasion. If it does not work out we'd love for him to be returned to us before rehoming.
