About Elvis

Elvis is a true character...personality plus. DOB 12/25/19...and currently weighs 42#s. He's going to be big...probably 70#s when grown. He is great on the leash and always wants to please. He is not extremely excitable but loves to play. He will be great with a family with children. Because he has been an outside dog most of his life, he does see cats as something to chase...but it's mostly in fun. Inside the house he was docile and preoccupied with the other dogs and people. We are working on house training. This one is a keeper... IMPORTANT INFO: SHANYE'S FOSTERS is a group of foster parents in the Olympia/Tumwater area. We foster dogs for rescues to assist them in adopting/rehoming of dogs by listing on this site.. All adoption fees go towards rescuing more dogs in need. No one receives a salary. Shayne's Fosters is not responsible for any experience you have with any dog you might see posted on this site. They are the property of the sponsoring rescue who will supply all medical supporting records which is given with each dog when adopted. Our adoption fees cover all medical costs to make sure the pups are appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and spayed/ neutered. It also covers the cost of transportation from Texas and the necessary health certificate documentation. The fees also include for any dogs over 6 months a negative heart-worm test. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and a myriad of other vetting. If the adoption fees seem high (which never cover the true cost of rescue), we recommend fostering for a good rescue. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees. We are always in need of good fosters. We are all volunteers who appreciate a good dog and feel they all need a 2nd chance at a good life. Adoption fees vary ($300 - $800) depending on age, breed, training, behavior, etc. Most are $400-$500). Generally, puppies are $495 unless otherwise stated. There are no additional fees, surcharges, or taxes added. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. Since worldwide over 1/2 billion puppies/dogs are PTS yearly and over 9,000/day just in U.S. shelters, yes even entire litters of puppies are PTS daily in many US shelters!
