About Birdie

PLEASE HAVE HEELER AND DOG TRAINING EXPERIENCE BEFORE APPLYING FOR BIRDIE!!! Birdie (fka Louise) is an approx 10-11 mos old Cowboy Borgi or Heeler/Doxie blend; we can't really decide. She's definitely Heeler though and will need an experienced owner and someone willing to train her and/or give her a job. She's super sweet and likes to snuggle, but sassy and barky esp. when outside her comfort zone. She's mostly potty trained when let out often and will need a secure fenced in yard (6 ft wood fence since she can and will climb); she will not adjust well to an apartment. A younger well-balanced canine companion in the home would be good for her to help burn off some puppy energy. She will need a home with kids over 12 y/o. No kitties, but she'll keep you laughing and on your toes with her silly puppy personality. She goes nutso over bunnies and is leash reactive to other dogs; not in an aggressive way, but in a Heeler way....over threshold excited way. She's 20# and probably will fill out just a bit more. She's spayed, utd on vaccs and chipped.
