About Diamond

Diamond is available as is his brother, Joker pictured in another post. Lovely Whippet pups surrendered to my 501(c)(3) non-profit because of an upheaval in the family due to moving and covid-19. There is a Whippet Adoption Application which I can email a prospective adopter. If it's approved, you may meet the pups (you wearing a mask, of course) and choose your new lifetime family member. Please email why you want a Whippet and your experience with Whippets. Please don't just email asking if they're still available or telling me you're interested in a pup without emailing me as requested. We don't transport, so trying to adopt to people in state or who can manage to come and get a puppy. If you are looking for a lovely pet, rescues are for you. If you are looking for specific breed characteristics, then contact a show breeder. If you would like to email about adopting, please understand we are a rescue and our time is not for wasting with 'tire kickers.' Sadly because of Covid, we have received a lot of emails, and applications from people who just have nothing else to do by 'shop' for dogs. If you are not a serious potential adopter, please don't email. It takes time to go through applications and we don't charge for your submitting one, so please go through it, DO NOT CHANGE IT and we'll read through and then be in touch by email. This boy is called 'diamond' because of the 'triangle' on his back. Don't know a neat name for triangle, so diamond it is, although you can change it. The pups are well taken care of here, so if you think you are a better home than mine or the others who adopted them, then please don't email. We don't have time for tire kickers or women who think they are entitled. Not trying to be mean, but this is a big responsibility and I take it very seriously. If you do, too, please email. I don't rent out my dogs and I don't test them for cats, since I have no cats. You can't believe some of the things we've been asked.
