About Trina

Hi Im Trina! I am an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING Siberian husky, malamute mix. I am 9 years young. I certainly do not act my age as everyone tell me when they meet me! My History: I am originally from NY. I was a puppy mill dog. I was rescued by a great lady in PA to helps dogs like me. She helped me overcome all my fears, including the fact I was scared of grass to even walk on it! sadly, she ended up having a house fire and her home was a total loss. She was able to get herself and the 7 dogs out safely. So Now I am at this rescue in Michigan trying to find my forever home. About My personality and my needs: -Because of being a puppy mill dog I have issues with food, ALTHOUGH I have overcome so MUCH of it, it is still lingering. so NO young kids should be in my life. I need to just be left alone when Im eating, plain and simple and we will get along just fine. I do protect my toys at times because I have never had any before until now., But if you tell me to drop it I will. Just dont try to take it out of my mouth until we are really good friends please. I don't like that until I trust you. -I am ABSOLUTELY A SWEET LOVING girl when I get to know you! I LOVE men. I flock to men more then to women, but I love both. Really whomever gives me attention and lots of it I will love!....belly rubs and Butt rubs are my favorite! -I am house trained and do not need a kennel set up in the home. I am not at all destructive either. In fact, I do BETTER not being in a kennel. -I should have a fenced yard HOWEVER, I would do EXCELLENT on a overhead zip line if a fence is not available -I am updated on all vaccines, spayed and chipped - I am VERY dog selective and Prey driven. NO CATS OR SMALL DOGS PLEASE. I would probably do best as an only husky so I can have all the love to myself at this point in my life. - I LOVE car rides and travel good in the car - I walk EXCELLENT on the leash - I know all basic commands and how to shake paws -NO YOUNG KIDS - Best for an experienced husky owner
