About Mona

Mona is a three year old shepherd/hound mix who weighs 70 pounds. She was owner surrender to the shelter due to her being 'afraid to go up and down the apartment stairs'. She will chase cats and she's dog selective. She can cohabitate with a dog her size but doesn't want to be bothered by them so dog parks and dog social things are most likely a no go for her especially without proper introduction. She has lived with children age 10 and was fine with them. She is a great companion to people and would be a great member of an only dog family. She is currently at the rescue in TX and can make her way to WA with a pre-adoption which means getting your application in, approved and then paying the adoption fee to secure her for yourself to pick up in Olympia, WA on July 11th. Her adoption fee covers her spay vaccinations, hw test and transport fees.
