About Shakira

Shakira is a 8 month old Staffordshire terrier / pitbull mix . Very athletic or can be a lazy couch potatoe. She is our baby she is super spoiled and loves her ropes and toys. She absolutely loves walks, going for car rides, ice creams,and will do anything to be in water anytime and loves garden houses she tries to eat them . . . . As much as this breaks my heart she needs a home. Shakira needs more room to run she needs a backyard and preferably no small children she does great with her human brother and sister except when she has a dog bone she is chewing or food she dont want them to grab she tries to snip and bite there hands. It's better to not have small kids near her while she is eating. She loves to run and play with kids alot. Apartment living for a dog of her breed is horribly miserable for her and she deserves so much better lots of room to run preferably a farm or huge backyard. Maybe even with a older couple that loves out doors and adventure. She does need to be the only dog as she does tend to have jealousy issues she wants the treat and toys first an may snip at them over her food or toys. But outside away from snacks and treats she will play all day with dogs and run around and play chase. She does great on walks and playing with stranger dogs she meets she just plays rough and loves to wrestle. She is a lap baby an doesn't always realise her size and she loves to sleep with you weather it be in your bed or by your bed. Shakira is kennel trained and will use pee pads for emergencies if need but will chew what's in her kennel and she is potty broke to go outside. She knows tricks she will sit, wait, stay and plays fetch until she wears herself out she also knows the drop command and she will drop what she has in her mouth . She will play tug of war and loves to jump high. She is always happy to please her owners no matter what . My girl shakira would make the perfect fit for someone who can give her the space and put more time into her training. Please she needs a home super soon as I fear apartment living is not for her and we are cramped i saved her from going to the pound when she was very small 4 months ago and now at 8 months old she needs her life long family to love her forever . I just want her to have the perfect home where she is the only animal and there are no little kids for her to snip at over food or bones. She has never snipped at adults she just dont trust kids and thinks they'll take her goodies . Please someone help my sweet baby we love her so much but she deserves so much better
