About Saffron

This is Saffron - she is about a year and a half old and purported to be a 'Terrier' mix. She came into us with the belief that she was probably pregnant. Well visit to the vet proved that to be wrong and she got spayed. She did, however, test positive for heartworm and has started her treatment for that. She takes a little while to warm up to new people. She is under 25 lbs. Once she gets to know you she is a great little dog. We would not recommend her in a home with small children. She is housebroken. She seems to do fine with other dogs her size - haven't let her play with anything smaller or a lot larger than her. She is available for visitors and adoption - if adopted she would have to return to us for a few days in late July for the second phase of her heartworm treatment. Her adoption fee will be $250.00.
