About Essie

Essie is very friendly and affectionate girl that just loves being the center of attention. She really enjoys being brushed,, back scratches and especially loves tummy rubs. She is not the least bit shy and doesn't know what a stranger is. If she had her way she would go up to anyone she see's to introduce herself and make a new friend. Essie loves to run around outside and play with her toys but we are still working on her bringing the toy back. Right now she thinks it's a really fun game to get the toys and play 'keep away' with them. Her other favorite game is to try to sneak into the vegetable garden to steal squash and tomatoes if foster mom gets distracted. Essie gets along great with cats, other dogs and kids ages 6 and up. She has not been around any children younger than 6 and since she is still young and gets excited she may accidentally knock one over. She is also house and crate trained although she really prefers to close to the people in the home.
