I rescued Amaya 6 months ago from a storm drain where she had a near fatal leg wound. We managed to save her leg and her life and she is now completely healed! Amaya can be skittish at first, but once she feels safe, she is immensely loving. She wants to be around people and in their arms or lap, being petted, at all times. She can be very silly, playing with the most random items! She has been called a parrot many times as she loves to lay on the top of my chair and my shoulder while I work! Amaya seems to do very well with other cats but she is a little more iffy when it comes to dogs. I believe it is possible for her to live in a home with a dog, but it will require a slow and thoughtful introduction! Her chronic upper respiratory infection causes her to be a particularly sniffley cat, but it does not impact her on a day to day basis! She eats, drinks, and plays all the same!
