'Well hello, there! My name is Claudette and I'm hoping to find my furever family soon because being in the shelter is not really my thing... what do you think? I am a 4 year old Bluetick Coonhound/Heeler mix that came to SVASC when my owner was no longer able to care for me. I previously live strictly outdoors and like to entertain myself by barking at the neighborhood kitties; apparently, that gets you in trouble? Who would've thought! Anyways, now I'm in the market for a brand new family! I am a super sweet girl, but can be a little hyper and pushy. It's just cus I'm so excited to have friends! I am a medium energy dog and would thrive in a home that enjoys park trips or playtime in the yard. I will need regular exercise to be happy, but I should be content with a good walk. I am good with other dogs and would do well in a home with another pup. I can be a little pushy, so please keep that in mind. I am said to be good with kids, but do need some work on manners; because of this, I would like a home with older kids, so that I don't accidentally knock someone over.
