About MEG (west)

Pit Bull mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Hi, my name is MEG ID#A4417324. I am a spayed female, grey and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since May 12, 2020. Poor meg can't seem to get a break. When she first came to the shelter, she was friendly, allowing all handling. She walked good on a leash, and took all her vaccines without issue. She would sit on command, and seek attention. She was, however, very vocal in her kennel, and, although friendly with a handler, got reactive with other dogs in the play yard. She gets easily overwhelmed around other dogs. Meg was adopted, but was returned when adopter stated that she was food aggressive towards other dog in home. The adopter said she likes chew toys, stuffed animals, and is very strong, but likes to lay around. She walks well on leash, and has a unique and weird bark. Meg is scheduled for immediate euthanasia. We think she would be OK in a home without other animals. She just needs a chance to prove it. Please consider making Meg your next furry family member.
