'Hello! My name is Winnie and I'm you new, most devoted, and loyal pal! If you need a buddy that is prepared to accompany you everywhere, then I'm your gal! I am a 4 year Bluetick Coonhound/Heeler mix that came to SVASC after my owner was no longer able to keep me. I was a strictly outdoor dog and liked to bark at the neighborhood kitties. Hey! What can I say... it's my favorite hobby, or at least it was. I'm ready to take up some new hobbies, like snuggles with my person and playing in the yard with my family! I am a really sweet girl, but am a little itty bitty shy at first. It doesn't seem like I ever got to be part of a family, so that may take some adjusting. I am a medium energy girl, which means I would fit in well with a family that enjoys evening walks and play time in the yard. I will need regular exercise. I love to play with other dogs, but can be a teeny bit pushy. Please keep that in mind when bringing me home. I am also said to be good with kids, but need some work on manners; because of this, I would like to go to a home with slightly older kids, so that I don't accidentally knock someone over. Please bring the whole family to meet me before taking me home! My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter.
