About Jenna

Adoption Fee: $100
Pit Bull / Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Jenna is a young adult, who is in a foster home in Federal Way, WA, looking for her forever home. Here is what her foster has to say about her: 'Jenna is a very sweet, affectionate and obedient dog. She has a sensitive personality and is a people pleaser. She is house trained and has learned a number of tricks in the time we've had her, including sit, stay, lay down, stand on two legs and shake. Jenna is happy with two or three walks a week, as long as she has a yard to play as energy level is low to moderate. She does well with people and gets along with familiar dogs, but she can get anxious when walking on leash, especially if the dog barks, growls or pays a little too close attention to her. She is currently improving on being more confident while out on walks and she has been making great strides. An owner comfortable with her in stressful situations and able to give her a confidence boost while walking her would be best. Dog parks and busy areas should be avoided or introduced slowly because she is highly sensitive to her environment and she gets very anxious and scared. A gentle leader leash has done so well for her and she is very food driven, so working with her has been fun and easy.'
