About Gus

This is Gus whom we rescued from my in-laws neighborhood back in September 2018. He was fostered at a friends home until December 2018, until we brought him to our home in January 2019. We have had him living with us for about 18 months now and although we love him very much he is very unpredictable and we can't have friends or family over without him hissing, biting or scratching. He has his sweet moments when he rubs up against us, sits on our lap, will be the biggest cuddle bug, and purrs and is so happy when we come home. He can be the sweetest boy ever, but then his mood changes quick. He usually likes to be left alone. He loves playing with his toys. He also has his claws. He's always been indoor but he could potentially be an outdoor cat. Our reason for seeking adoption into a new family for him is because he is still a fairly young cat (less than 2) and is otherwise perfectly healthy. We've exhausted all options like remedies, vet advice , but nothing has really worked.We really just want to give him another shot at life where he's happy.
