Smokey was saved when the shelter alerted us that he was facing euthanasia because he was FIV. We scheduled him to a new home out of state when it we observed alopecia (hair loss). None of the veterinary regimens worked, because the issue of his condition was caused by stress. He is extremely like a dog, very low maintenance. Currently, his fur grew back because he is calm and situated. He is cuddly, sweet and does not particularly like sharing attention with the other animals at our sanctuary. You must keep him indoors and own your own home as we care deeply that this boy has a permanent happy home that will never quit on him. He has not shown any unhealthy signs . With FIV he can live long and healthy as any other cat, and like any other cat, we expect that you can cover any of his medical needs, just as if he were a child. THANK YOU FOR READING and your interest in him.
