About Daisy Mae

UPDTE June 26: : As Daisy has been with us a bit longer, we have discovered that she is extremely protective of my son that she followed to my parents home. There was a situation where my son was in his bedroom sick, Daisy was a bit frantic about the situation when I went in the bedroom. She charged at me in a stance of get away and growled. I froze as this is a new behavior (but we have only been with her 2 weeks), she then grumbled and began barking. I left the room. It is apparent that she is protective of the person she loves and trusts. She should be with an adult on a farm setting, probably with few neighbors. I have changed the GOOD WITH to reflect the above. She has been around kids and was fine, but certain situations can trigger her to go into protective mode and this would not be a safe situation for children. This will probably be difficult to find. Found as stray June 14. Have been searching for owner. Hoping they see this post. Will be fully vetted tomorrow. I cannot continue to have an unknown vaccinated dog with my pets. We have had no luck in two weeks of finding the owner, so we also need to locate a compatible home. Our female redbone is selective.
