About Baron

Baron is a 2 year old Italian Maremma Sheepdog. Also known as a livestock guardian. They are a sister breed to the Great Pyrenees. Baron and his 2 brothers were saved from a hoarding situation out of Pi̱on Hills. 14 of these beautiful babies lives in a barn. Baron has made a remarkable recovery considering he hadn't previously been handled or given any affection. This guy is pure love. However, it takes him time to trust, Maremma's never forget how you handle them. Although he is a livestock guardian, he will likely be better as a companion animal. He is great with other dogs, housebroken and crate trained. ZERO aggression. Now that he has learned what the inside of a house is, he doesn't really enjoy being outside. Do i think he could work a farm? Certainly. Do I think he would enjoy that? No. I dont. Baron is neutered/vaccinated/chipped and has a current rabies certificate.
