About Jessie

Pretty little Jessie is ready for her furever home! Jessie is a 4.5 month old, 10-12 pound adorable Jack Russell Chihuahua mix! Jessie was found living in the woods by a cemetery. She was terrified and wouldn't come to the lady who found her, but the lady kept working with her until she caught her, which didn't happen overnight. Now Jessie is a very sweet girl who loves lap time. She follows her person around and enjoys love and attention. She happily gives kisses and likes to jump on you for petting. Jessie is an active playful girl who plays well with all dogs, big or small, but a home with an older dog or one who is smaller might not tolerate her puppy energy well. She also likes playing with her Kong toy and stuffed animals. Jessie could be only dog, but she really loves having doggy friends and would be happiest with a playful buddy. She ignores the cat in her foster home and has not been tested with kids. We think should be fine with older kids. Her foster mom is working on her potty training and teaching her how to use the doggy door. She is very treat motivated and loves praise. With a good routine and lots of positive reinforcement she will learn! She sleeps in bed with her foster mom and the other dogs in her foster home. A fenced yard would be great for her to run and play in. Jessie is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Her spay is scheduled soon and is covered by the rescue as long as it is done at our vet. Jessie is a precious girl who would make a family very happy!
