About Marcy

Marcy is an adorable six-year-old, 35-40 lb. hound/rottweiler mix (our best guess). She was just surrendered by her family where she spent her entire life living as a mostly outdoor dog. This Carolina pup is now ready to find her happily furever after up north! This super sweet and happy girl has a wonderful personality and LOVES to play and be with her people! She especially enjoys a game of fetch, running around the yard, and basking in the sun. Marcy is affectionate and loves sitting in your lap while you pet her. Being that she lived outside for her entire life, she is getting used to being in a house and using a leash, and has been making great progress! Marcy does get scared of storms, fireworks, and loud sounds so she'd prefer someone who isn't gone long hours. You must have a fully fenced yard (5ft+/not electric) to be considered. Apartments not recommended. She is good with other dogs and children of all ages. We are not sure how she is with cats but would not recommend a home with small animals. Her adoption fee is $300 and Marcy is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.
